Our Teachers

Dr. Hong Dai, Math Teacher

Since 1984, Dr. Dai Hong (PhD, PhD, MS, MS, MS, BS) has been teaching math courses on the college level at Chongqing University, University of Connecticut, Boston College, and Dillard University. Before his teaching stint at those universities, he taught high school math in China from 1976-1978.

Unlike most test preparation programs that teach test-taking tips, Dr. Dai teaches substance, covering all knowledge points on the test. Throughout the duration of the test course program, Dr. Dai will employ his effective teaching system to correct common mistakes that are even made by the most advanced students. His one-on-one attention, systematic approach, combined with his unmatchable expertise, sets Dr. Dai’s teaching style apart from any other tutors.

Dr. Dai is currently a Co-Chair and Tenured Professor of Math and Actuarial Science at Dillard University, an Actuarial Assistant Director of Louisiana Alliance for Minority Participation (LAMP) Program and a national Conrad N. Hilton Mathematics/Actuarial Science Endowed Professor. He is a National Specialist on Algebra I and II Core Curriculum.
